Custom icon design for Kaspersky Antivirus 5
Old stuff from 2005. Kaspersky Labs placed an order for redesigning icons in Kaspersky Antivirus 5.0. We created all icons: toolbar icons, tab icons and alert icons and even some images for graphic user interface. The style of these icons is similar to Windows XP but has some differences.
It was great experience for us in 2005. We were the small and young company working with world-leading software giants. You can see some icons below.
And this is how the new icons were used in the Kaspersky Antivirus 5.0 interface.
This project was very hard for us: we did a lot of iterations, concepts and adjustments. Except of money we got the great experience of working with a huge company like Kaspersky Labs.

RSSUsers got used to standard icons in XP and they subconsciously want to see the same styled icons in third-party software applications. We design custom Windows XP icons according to the Microsoft guidelines and standards, that's why our custom icons always have consistent look and feel with the standard XP icon set.
