Custom icon design for Covera Zone

We designed new application and toolbar icons for french software development company Celtrio. Their flagship products are Covera and Covera Zone. These applications are used for Wi-Fi network survey and visualizing Wi-Fi coverage.

First of all, we designed two new appllication icons. The style of icons can be described like the mix of Vista and XP look. The main shape of icons resembles Covera logo.

The next step of new look creation was designing toolbar icons. We designed all toolbar icons in 24x24 and 16x16 sizes and icons for Covera file, Installation pack and . All were made in slightly customized Windows XP style - the same colors and look but some changes in perspective and details.

Users got used to standard icons in XP and they subconsciously want to see the same styled icons in third-party software applications. We design custom Windows XP icons according to the Microsoft guidelines and standards, that's why our custom icons always have consistent look and feel with the standard XP icon set.
